There is a close title fight in the women’s Bundesliga. Eintracht Frankfurt now set a clear fragrance brand and thus claims the top of the table.
With a sovereign 9-0 win over Turbine Potsdam, the footballers of Eintracht Frankfurt defended their lead in the Bundesliga. The Hessinnen effortlessly prevailed against the winless bottom and thanks to the better goal difference, FC Bayern Munich (both 35 points) passed. Your lead over the third in the table VfL Wolfsburg is now three points. Next Sunday, the Frankfurt women will meet the cup winner in a direct duel.
The game was practically decided after eleven minutes: Géraldine Reuteler contributed to a double strike (3rd/11th minute), in between Laura Freiang met (6th). Even after that, Frankfurt remained clearly superior. Lara Prasnikar met three times (23rd, 73rd, 86./Foulelfmeter), Nicole Anyomi (80.), Remina Chiba (83.) and Pernille Sanvig (90.+2) provided the final score.
