The women of the 1st FC Köln started with a defeat in the season of the women’s Bundesliga. With a retired team there was a 0: 2 (0: 1) bankruptcy against RB Leipzig. Marleen Schimmer (14th) and Sandra Starke (63.) scored the goals for Leipzig. FC player Celina Degen saw the yellow-red card in the 57th minute because of repeated foul play.
Everything should be new to the 1st FC Köln: Ten newcomers signed the FC women, including the former international Marina Hegering and striker Pauline Bremer. The goal: become more stable. At the front and back. Less individual mistakes in defense, more danger in your own attack.
