A serious accident happened on the expressway to Reet around 9 p.m. tonight. An Audi crossed the road at the ramp to the E19 towards Brussels. The car was hit by a Range Rover. The woman at the wheel of the Range Rover was trapped in the vehicle and had to be freed by the Kontich fire service. She was taken to hospital under the supervision of the MUG doctor.
Traffic was able to walk past the accident site at a walking pace.
