The knife attack was around 8 p.m. on two different streets near the Theresienwiese event site, where the Oktoberfest takes place every year.
According to German media, she attacked a 56-year-old man with a knife and also injured a 25-year-old woman. The two were slightly injured. When agents wanted to arrest the suspect, she kept holding the knife, after which he was shot. The police do not think that the perpetrator and victims knew each other.
The perpetrator would be a Bulgarian woman who lived in the neighborhood and would have mental problems.
