A scooter rider was injured on Thursday morning in an accident between Havelterberg and Steenwijk.
The accident happened at the intersection of the Meppelerweg with the Steenakkers. The accident involved a scooter and a car. The woman who was driving the scooter was taken to hospital by ambulance.
It is unknown how the accident could have happened.
The Steenakkers was closed to traffic, part of the Meppelerweg was also closed off.
