There are new developments in the affair around Red Bull team boss Christian Horner. The employee concerned is said to have received a high severance payment.

The woman, who was at the center of the scandal for alleged misconduct by ex-Red Bull team boss Christian Horner, has apparently received a high severance payment from the Formula 1 racing team. As the British newspaper “Daily Mail” reports, Red Bull is said to have paid the woman’s three million pounds (the equivalent of 3.4 million euros). For this, the employee is said to have agreed to drop the allegations.

She is said to have now accepted a job with another Formula 1 team and have been back on the track at the last race in Singapore.

The scandal about Horner was sparked in spring 2024. Two internal examinations were free to speak of misconduct. He also always denied the allegations and survived the scandal. After a sporting misery, the 51-year-old still had to go as a team leader after a total of 20 years. According to reports, he is also said to have received a severance payment of around 60 million euros as part of the separation.

In private, Horner has had a relationship with the former Spice Girls singer Geri Halliwell since 2014. The couple has been married since 2015. The Brit is currently to plan its return to Formula 1 with a new team. However, there is probably no concrete agreement with a future employer.
