The woman was injured when she collided with another car in a car at the intersection between Legmeerdijk and Bachlaan in the evening. The woman was a passenger in the car. The driver – a 79-year-old woman from Aalsmeer – was also seriously injured.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 34-year-old man from Kudelstaart, has been interviewed by the police and remains a suspect. The police are still investigating what happened and whether he did anything criminal.
The cause of the accident is not yet clear, which is why the police are looking for witnesses or camera images.
