A 43-year-old woman from Purmerend is still in custody for the stabbing last Saturday in a house on Rivierenlaan in Purmerend. Earlier, a man from the municipality of Edam-Volendam and a man from Katwijk were also arrested. The two men are now back home, the police told NH.
At the stabbing hit Saturday morning ‘one person’ injured. The police are not making any statements about the victim. The police only want to say about the suspects: “Two of the suspects are back home, the 43-year-old woman from Purmerend will be brought before the examining magistrate tomorrow.”
“Although the investigation is still ongoing, there is no connection other incidents found and this therefore appears to be an isolated incident,” the police said.
