Wolverine World Wide promotes Bishu Jayaram to chief supply chain officer

US footwear and apparel retailer Wolverine World Wide Inc. has expanded its leadership team.

On Thursday, the company announced the appointment of Bishu Jayaram to the newly created position of Chief Supply Chain Officer. In this role, Jayaram will be responsible for the areas of sourcing, distribution and logistics as well as for the overall planning of the supply chain, according to a statement.

The experienced industry expert has been working for the parent company of brands such as Merrell, Saucony, Hush Puppies and Sweaty Betty for two years and served as Senior Vice President of Global Sourcing until his recently announced promotion. He previously held various management positions at renowned companies such as VF Corporation, Adidas and Gap Inc.

Wolverine World Wide also announced that Executive Vice President Jim Zwiers, who currently leads the Global Operations Group, will leave the company in early 2024 after 25 years with the company.
