Wolter Kroes is really upset because Chris Woerts criticized him in Today Inside. The singer gets his gram via the Shownieuws camera. “He’s a sour bastard.”
Marco Borsato may have enjoyed silent support from some colleagues in recent years, but most Dutch celebrities were publicly silent for fear of being condemned by the general public. It is of course not popular to stand up for someone who is suspected of indecency with a minor. However, after his acquittal, everything is different.
Hypocritical
On the day Marco was acquitted, all kinds of artists did a happy dance, including Wolter Kroes. In the evening he was in an item of Shownieuws saying all kinds of lyrical things. “Dear, dear Marco, congratulations boy! Fantastic! And I hope you come back, once again as the greatest artist in the Netherlands!”
Wolter has been given a severe reprimand. Not only from Ronald Molendijk, but also from Today Inside star Chris Woerts. He said: “Scandalous. Really scandalous. One of those Wolter Kroes who then says: ‘Oh, Marco, welcome back to the family!’ I find that really embarrassing. You don’t hear them for six years and now every celebrity posts a photo. So hypocritical.”
Wolter pissed off
Wolter finds it really annoying that Chris said this in VI and hits back. “Yes, I don’t know what that Chris is talking about, but of course he does that a lot more often, that incredible curmudgeon,” he sneers in Show news.
He continues: “I seem to have said: ‘Welcome back to the family’, but I don’t know what you’re talking about, Chris, but I just said: ‘If he is acquitted, I hope he will become the greatest artist in the Netherlands again’, and I still mean that.”
Acquitted
It is logical that he was a bit lyrical, says Wolter. “You know, the man has been acquitted. He has not been convicted and then as a colleague you can say: ‘Welcome back as the greatest artist in the Netherlands’, but Chris Woerts often talks out of his neck.”
He continues: “I’m getting a little angry with that guy, I think he’s an incredible bastard how he always pisses everyone off. We would like to welcome Marco back again.”
Cuddly Italian
Wolter supports Marco through thick and thin, because he deeply distrusts the complainant and her mother. He seems to assume that there is an act of revenge.
“Of course there were others who supported him, but I just didn’t believe he did this. I always said: ‘He’s a cuddly Italian.’”
