At 21, she was the youngest Italian to play in the Wnba: three summers in Minnesota (2017, 2018, 2024), also winning a title, then the move last year to Golden State, a franchise making its debut in the league. There he contributed to a historic year: Chase Center always sold out, an impressive figure for a newborn team, and immediate results on the field too, with the playoffs reached at the first attempt, despite then being eliminated in the first round against Minnesota. Zandalasini then temporarily left the Valkyries to fly to Greece, where he won a historic European bronze with the national team. Returning to the United States lightly, with the medal around her neck, she quickly found her rhythm, confirming herself among the protagonists: 10.5 points on average, 44.7% from the field and 40.7% from three, seventh best shooter in the league. And in Greece it made itself felt: 27 minutes on average, a fixed point for coach Capobianco, always with the courage and stubbornness to take responsibility in the moments that count, as demonstrated (also) by the 11 points and 5 assists in the final against France. In his fifth season in the Euroleague he averaged 9.7 points and over 3 assists in 25.6 minutes per game. Now the possibility opens up for her to play her cards in Dallas too, with the blue on the horizon: in September Italy will be at the World Cup in Berlin.
