With the help of Spotify, the famous tongue logo will soon be visible in stadiums.
Together with the Rolling Stones, the football club FC Barcelona is launching a new jersey, with the support of Spotify.
On X (formerly Twitter), the Catalan team announced that their new jersey will soon be available. This is the familiar maroon and navy striped design with a twist. In addition to the FC Barcelona emblem, the Rolling Stones tongue logo will be visible on the chest. This news came one day before the release of the Rolling Stones’ new album HACKNEY DIAMONDS (October 20th).
“DONE DEAL! FC Barcelona and Rolling Stones sign contract before the next El Clásico,” the club writes in their post, and thanks to Spotify are also included. In addition, a video is included that shows Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards with the new jersey. From October 28th the product of their collaboration will be here to be available.

On November 5th, the FC Barcelona team will also be wearing the new jersey in the women’s team’s game against Sevilla at the Johan Cruyff Stadium in Barcelona. The Stones also plan to be there. “We will be cheering on the players on the field as well as the fans around the world who will be watching this iconic game,” the band said.
This is not the first musical collaboration for a new jersey for the Spanish team. In 2022, they wore Drake’s owl logo on the Barça jersey during a game against Real Madrid to celebrate his 50 billion Spotify streams. The rapper posted this on his Instagram page at the time:
In addition to the jersey collaboration, the Rolling Stones have released further news in connection with HACKNEY DIAMONDS in recent weeks. They released their two singles “Angry” and “Sweet Sounds Of Heaven” in advance. For “Angry” there was a direct music video with support from actress Sydney Sweeney and for “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” they were musically supported by Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder.
