New York Fashion Week has started with stars like Janet Jackson, Alicia Silverstone and Nicky Hilton.
Numerous designers want to show their designs at various locations in the city until Wednesday. Among them are established fashion designers such as Prabal Gurung, Badgley Mischka or Tommy Hilfiger, but also new labels.
Even before the start, the Italian Dior designer Maria Grazia Chiuri had been awarded this year’s Couture Council Award by the New York fashion school FIT.(dpa)
