It starts on Friday, with Catania-Crotone. Then it will be the turn of another 1142 matches, broadcast exclusively by SkySport and NowTv. Serie C officially lands on SkySport and, in view of the new season, changes its name for the first time: during 2023-2024 it will be called “Serie C Now”, with the logo of the streaming service that will also find space on the shirts of the sixty teams entered in the championship. This morning, in the SkySport offices in Milan, the president of Lega Pro Matteo Marani presented, together with Federico Ferri (SkySport managing director), Lorenzo Virgilio (Sky commercial director) and Lorenzo Foglia (Senior Director NowTV) the new collaboration between Serie C and the television broadcaster, which will allow season ticket holders to follow all the races of the season without paying additional costs.

“Today we enter the house of sport to all intents and purposes – explained Marani -. Serie C is a growing product that wants to improve even more, Sky and NowTV will bring us exceptional visibility. Our championship involves 18 regions and 13 million people: the catchment area is amazing and I’m sure Sky will be able to satisfy their needs. Let’s not forget that, even more so after the registration of Atalanta’s B team, Serie C is destined to establish itself as the championship of young Italians: we want to train the players of the national team of the future”.
