The FC Emmen fans of supporters’ association Rood-Wit will travel after their club in style next Eredivisie season, in a unique, recognizable supporters bus with their own printing. The bus was unveiled this afternoon before the trip to opponent PSV in Eindhoven.
It was a long-cherished wish of the association: no boring coach, but a supporters bus with the Red-White logo. Finally it worked, just before the start of another season in the Eredivisie. “This will make us stand out”, laughs board member René Veen of Rood-Wit.
Normally, supporters’ associations rent coaches from transport companies to visit away games. This is still the case here, but together with the bus rental company and a number of local entrepreneurs, the supporters’ association has worked out its idea: the bus was wrapped in matte black and covered with large Red-White logos on the sides and the roof and with stickers from the many sponsors.
Under the watchful eye of dozens of members, the surprise arrived this afternoon at supporters home the Dug-Out.
