Jaco confirms that Zoetermeer residents can still enjoy the sunny weather in the first days of March. With daytime temperatures of about 7 to 9 degrees, which is quite normal for this time of year. But do not forget that it is cold at night. Jaco: “In nights with more clouds or fog, the temperature remains just above zero. As is often the case, we have to scrape the windows at the beginning of March this year and gloves are nice on the bike.”
And then… wet snow
The sun does not shine in Zoetermeer all month long, because from mid-March, people in Zoetermeer will have to deal with precipitation. Jaco: “There is even a chance of hail and wet snow.” Small reassurance: the expected precipitation amounts are limited.
The raincoat is essential
Although the quantities in mid-March are better than expected, that is probably not the case at the end of March. If you then do a round of the city, a raincoat is not a superfluous luxury. But there is a bright spot, because the sun will also return to Zoetermeer. Jaco: “Despite the absence of real spring temperatures, you can get a spring feeling at beautiful moments out of the wind and in the sun.”
