The windows of three houses on the Zijstraat in De Moer were destroyed on Friday night with an explosive. The heavy explosion took place around three o’clock in the morning.
After the explosion, local residents heard Jeugden cheering and then a scooter driving away.
Emotions
The residents of the three affected houses had to leave their house. Police and fire brigade investigated.
The resident of the left-wing house, an 89-year-old man, was so shocked that he had to be taken care of by local residents. In addition, a family with teenagers lives in the house. Also with them the emotions were very high on Friday night.

Due to the heavy explosion, which could be heard throughout De Moer, many people woke up.
Around a quarter to five in the morning the affected people were allowed to return to their homes. The Salvage Foundation was present to assist the residents with cleaning up all the glass and closing the windows.
