For all home cinema fans, “Guglhupfgeschwader” will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on December 19th. Ed Herzog directed the comedy, based on the novel by Rita Falk, and the film was produced by Kerstin Schmidbauer.
ROLLING STONE is giving away three Blu-rays for the film.

Shortly before his service anniversary, the village policeman Franz Eberhofer (Sebastian Bezzel) is put to the test several times: Unexpectedly, he not only has a new member of the family, but also becomes part of criminal activities. At the latest when his grandmother’s (Enzi Fuchs) delicious ring cake is shot, the fun is over and Eberhofer starts investigating together with his colleague Rudi Birkenberger (Simon Schwarz). And of course Susi, Franz’ girlfriend (Lisa Maria Potthoff), drags him in all the stress to couples therapy, which the inspector somehow doesn’t know how to deal with at all.
Other roles include Stefanie Reinsperger, Michael A. Grimm, Daniel Christensen, Stephan Zinner, Max Schmidt and Johannes Berzl.
