Oh, oh: is the argument between Tineke de Nooij and her showbiz son Gordon flaring up again now that she has publicly criticized his real-life soap? “In my opinion, not enough happened.”
More than ten years ago, Tineke de Nooij and Gordon came to blows because he had made negative comments about South Africa. She loves that country and was furious, which he did not understand at all: “Maybe her BioStabil chain was crooked this morning?” Eventually their relationship recovered, but not for long.
Criticism of soap opera
Things went wrong again between the two media figures during the corona period, possibly because of an argument about a corona test. Fortunately, that conflict has also been resolved: Tineke was recently even seen in Gordon’s soap opera on SBS 6.
But Tineke is now talking about that soap opera in a national medium, namely the magazine Weekendvery critical. “I liked what I saw of it,” she begins, politically correct. “Only he was just followed, which I think is a shame. You have to make a good script in advance: what is interesting in his life, what problems does he encounter?”
‘Really too little’
Tineke found the soap very boring. “You have to know exactly what you want to capture, have a scenario. I thought that was missing here, because in my opinion there was really not enough happening. Stage things, you’re making a TV show! It’s not enough just to have a camera and a nice guy like Gordon. It is a profession.”
Does she advise the singer about this? “No. I don’t say too much to him. Just that I’m proud of him. He’s doing very well at the moment. I’m not worried.”
In love with boys
Finally: what does Tineke think of Gordon’s love life? “Let me first say that Gordon has someone next to him, Patrick. That is his support and support, his base.”
“For the rest, he has to fall in love with all those boys, but only his own age. Patrick doesn’t leave, and Gordon can’t help but blame himself for that. I do that too.”
