The busy life of Pekka Haavisto and Antonio Flores has continued even after the end of the presidential election campaign.

Haavisto, 66, who finished second in the most recent presidential race, says in an interview with Iltalehti that the rush has not eased even after the end of the presidential election campaign.
When asked about relaxation, Antonio’s spouse, 46, immediately starts shaking his head.
– He travels a lot, we rarely see each other. He has been traveling for quite a long time now, we see each other maybe once a week, Flores says about his spouse.
– When I ask him when you will retire, he thinks that I will probably never, Flores continues.

– He has a company, he is all the time taking care of the company’s affairs, Haavisto defends.
The busy couple says that they maintain their love life through shared humor. Haavisto says that the couple laugh at the same things and take care of each other.
– We always check where the other person is going, whether they need something, for example food or some arrangements, says Haavisto.
Flores describes the past year as “quite a hassle”. She says that during her husband’s presidential election campaign, she learned a lot about Finnish culture and got to know people.
– And I’m terribly proud of Antonio that he still had enough time for the presidential election campaign. He had just started a company and hired employees. I admire it, Haavisto commented.
Flores, who started out as a hairdressing entrepreneur, did her spouse’s hair for the Independence Day celebration reception.
– A little stress every time you go to a party. Find all nipples and buttons, tailcoat buttons and more, says Haavisto.
Flores describes her spouse’s merit badges as a Christmas tree, because they have already accumulated in abundance.
Even in Iltalehti’s interview from Presidentinlinna, the couple did not confirm whether they intend to participate in the sequels. Flores complained about the loud noise in the Linna, because when talking you almost “shout” at others.
– You are getting old, Haavisto tells his spouse, laughing.
