The Italian first division soccer club Lazio Rom apparently wants to sign the Mainz Bundesliga professional Jonathan Burkardt. Lazio is ready to pay up to 15 million euros for the U21 international, reported the “Gazzetta dello Sport” on Wednesday.
Burkardt is a preferred candidate for trainer Maurizio Sarri, who sees the young star as the perfect strike partner for the experienced Ciro Immobile. Lazio are currently only eighth in the Serie A table.
