Wild trade in NFL draft – Texans go up to three for Will Anderson

Mega trade in the NFL draft! The Houston Texans, having just found the quarterback of the future in CJ Stroud in second place, move up to third place and pick Will Anderson, Alabama’s pass rusher.

For weeks there had been rumors that the Arizona Cardinals wanted to get rid of their number 3 pick. It was not necessarily foreseeable that it is now the Houston Texans who are trading up for a double pick.

And the Texans paid a lot for this right. They give up their first-round pick this year (No. 12), second-round pick this year (No. 33), one first-rounder next year, and one third-round pick next year.

In return, they received the number 3 pick from the Cardinals this year, as well as pick number 105 in this year’s draft.
