Kaptein opened the score in the thirteenth minute against the still scoreless St. Pölten. Shortly before halftime, Catarina Macario doubled the lead for the London team. The same Macario made it 0-3 after the break with a penalty kick. Chelsea went further ahead thanks to goals from Sam Kerr (2) and Lisa Ebert in their own goal.
Olympique Lyonnais – VfL Wolfsburg
Olympique Lyonnais led 2-0 at halftime against VfL Wolfsburg, both goals were scored by Norwegian Ada Hegerberg. Both teams had won their first two matches. Wendie Renard even made it 3-0 from the penalty spot.
Lineth Beerensteyn gave the German team some hope in the eightieth minute, but the score remained at 3-1. Ella Peddemors, Caitlin Dijkstra and Janou Levels also had a starting place at Wolfsburg. Lily Yohannes, who was trained at Ajax, came in for Lyon.
