Political television enthusiasts were in their element yesterday, because all current programs were of course dominated by the fall of the cabinet. The coalition partners Caroline van der Plas, Dilan Yesilgöz and Nicolien van Vroonhoven, dumped by Geert Wilders, were in one or more talk shows. Why not the PVV leader?

No Wilders

Victor VLAM, the media echo who is known from today Inside, knows why. “The reason that Wilders and other PVV people are in not in any talk show is a conscious strategy. I think he will distance himself from all that pressure -talking politicians. In imaging he is not part of the established politics,” he says on X.

The only PVV member who appeared somewhere yesterday was State Secretary Ingrid Coenradie, namely at Eva Jinek. “But Wilders no longer has her in his grip because she leaves.”

Few days

Can Wilders not appear anywhere better? “Because otherwise they will be overtaken by slippery males such as Timmermans, Jetten, Dassen and Bontenbal 🤔,” someone tells Victor.

Finally, the medianer then: “I think he will come up with his story in a few days. Then all the attention will go to that. Pretty smart in itself.”
