Artificial intelligence, automation and digitalization are not only technological advances; They are forces that are radically reconfiguring our ways of working, consuming and relating. We measure progress in new devices and algorithms, but the challenge is not only a matter of technical skill, but also demands a deep understanding of its impact on human behavior. In this scenario of constant change, a critical need emerges: that of a translator capable of decoding the new organizational and social dynamics that technology generates.

This is the natural territory of social sciences. Disciplines such as anthropology, sociology or communication have the unique ability to analyze complex and multidimensional problems, going beyond the metrics to understand the as and the because behind social behaviors and imaginary. In the private sector, this ability translates into a fundamental competitive advantage.

The case that popularized this idea was that of Netflix. The decision to launch complete series arose from an investigation led by the anthropologist Grant McCracken, who studied the patterns of behavior of the spectators. Today this practice is globally consolidated in companies such as Amazon, Microsoft and Disney, which resort to business anthropology (Business Anthropology) to obtain a deep understanding of their customers, employees and markets. Spotify exemplifies the strategic integration of data science and the research of qualitative users to understand its global audience.

In Argentina, the relationship between social sciences and the corporate world has matured at high speed. The leading companies of the country such as Mercado Libre, Delugar and Globant see these studies as a strategic tool to improve customer experience (CX), develop relevant products (UX Research) and build more resilient organizational cultures.

Currently, a formative offer is being developed according to the need for new profiles that respond to this growing demand. The pioneering example is the Diploma in Social Sciences applied to the Private Sector (UNDELTA). This training, aimed at graduates in Social Sciences, was born in the Circular innovation hub Located in Nordelta, in an ecosystem of avant -garde companies and projects, with the conviction that critical thinking and the ability to understand complex problems are the engine of true innovation.
