One of the most common questions Harrison Ford gets asked by Star Wars and Indiana Jones nerds is, “Who would win in a fight, Han Solo or Indiana Jones?” Fans of the two franchises have long had heated debates online -Debates around this question, for example on Reddit. In a new interview, the 80-year-old revealed how he usually reacts when fans ask him the tiresome question of which of the two heroes would prevail in a duel: “Me, asshole!” Ford doesn’t seem to have much for such mind games left over. “I don’t want to make up shit like that. I mean, why are you asking me such crap?” The winner of the Cannes Palme d’honneur made it clear in the interview that he doesn’t define himself by his roles, but always sees himself as Harrison Ford. “Harry Ford actually.”

Harry Ford has portrayed the charismatic archeology professor in five films, including the forthcoming Indiana Jones and the Wheel of Destiny. Ford has also slipped into the role of the shady smuggler who later joins the rebel alliance five times. In the three films of the original Star Wars trilogy, as well as The Force Awakens (2015) and as a cameo in The Rise of Skywalker (2019).

Mark Hamill, who Ford starred alongside in Star Wars, told Esquire magazine in a previous interview that he respected Ford from the word go. “Just like Luke [Skywalker] it did, I looked up to him.” Harrison Ford seemed to Hamill like someone who had more control over the whole situation than he did himself. I was just like, ‘This guy is tall,'” recalled the Luke Skywalker actor.
