A new one twist on the Liliana Resinovich casethe pensioner who disappeared from Trieste in December 2021 and was found dead in a forest on the outskirts of the city on 5 January 2022. Almost 4 years after his death there would be a new testimony. According to the newspaper The Piccolo of Trieste Mr. Alfonso Buonocore, former owner of a pizzeria frequented by Liliana and her husband Sebastiano, would have told a disturbing fact.
Shortly before his disappearance and after having dinner in his restaurant, the woman allegedly asked him for a large black bag. One like the one the manager used to throw away rubbish. The next day, she would return alone to ask for a secondwith the recommendation not to say anything to her husband.
The man reportedly reported the facts to Visintin a week ago, during a visit to his home. The widower recorded the entire conversation and handed over the audio file to the police station. The witness describes in detail the type of bags: «they weren’t the ones you buy rolled up, but the thick ones that I bought in large packs from a company that I think is in Grado, and which are sold folded in four». Could they be the ones where his body was found?
Although he did not remember the exact date of the event, identifying it in the Covid period between 2020 and 2021, he would have remembered the dishes that the spouses would have ordered that evening. Why such a late testimony? Buonocore would not have spoken on the advice of a policeman friend, who would have told him not to get involved.
Disappeared today’s episode, the news on the Liliana Resinovich case
The former regional employee passed away on the morning of December 14, 2021. His bodywrapped in two black plastic bags, was found a few weeks later, on January 5, 2022in a peripheral area of the city. Initially, investigators think she took her own life. Talking about murder it is Liliana’s close friend, Claudio Sterpin. The two were ready to start a new life together. The suspects, for economic reasons, they fall on the woman’s husband, the Gorizia native Sebastiano Visintinwho has always supported the suicide hypothesis.
A new autopsy speaks of death by suffocation: Liliana would have been killed. The case was therefore reopened and, despite the alibi, Visintin was lately registered in the register of suspects for murder. A few days ago, the Court of Cassation rejected the appeal of Visintin’s lawyers for a third autopsy on Liliana’s body.
The new testimony was greeted with great suspicion by the lawyer of Sergio Resinovich, brother of the deceased. «Why these statements after so long? And why not do them at the police station or in the prosecutor’s office, instead of talking to the press?”

The other cases: Claudio Mandia and Marzia Capezzuti
This evening we will also talk about the suicide of Claudio Mandia, which occurred in 2022. The newly eighteen year old he was in New York to study at a prestigious college when he allegedly took his own life after being grounded and then expelled for cheating on an exam. The institute would never have warned the family that Claudio would have threatened suicide. The county prosecutor’s office did not allow a criminal trial for negligence.
The case of Marzia Capezzuti, the young Milanese kidnapped and tortured by her ex-boyfriend’s family in Pontecagnanowhere she had temporarily settled. The girl was strangled and then buried in a farmhouse in 2022. Two years earlier, Marzia had met Alessandro Vacchiano online and moved to him in Campania.
After the boy’s death due to an overdose, she remained to live with Alessandro’s sister, her husband and her son. The diabolical trio, taking advantage of her slight cognitive deficit, would have segregated her to take possession of her disability pension. The trial is taking place these days with the dramatic testimonies of social workers.
