As always, the Super Bowl 2024 started musically before the halftime show. Before the game, both “America the Beautiful” and the official national anthem of the United States (“The Star-Spangled Banner”) are sung.
The anthem at Super Bowl LVIII was sung by Grammy Award-winning country musician Reba McEntire. US rapper Post Malone, however, intoned “America the Beautiful”.
McEntire joins a ranks of superstars who are moving patriotic hearts in front of an audience of millions in the USA before the kickoff of the NFL final. In recent years, Lady Gaga, Pink and Alicia Keys have been at the microphone, among others.
