After a long absence, Astrid Holleeder has finally reappeared at RTL Tonight, but now it is Floor Bremer who is missing from the talk show. “It was not a happy marriage.”
A whole host of regular guests have been announced for RTL Tonight, and Albert Verlinde would be the main guest with three performances a week. Astrid Holleeder would also join us at all times. Well, that’s all disappointing; we only see them occasionally, and then for the biggest possible nonsense items.
Where is Floor?
Albert was brought to the studio last week to deny on behalf of Jaïr Ferwerda that his cycling interview with Frans Timmermans was a mistake. It’s incredibly sad that Albert has to spend the last years of his TV career in this way. Anyway, at least it’s still there. But Floor Bremer? Where is she?
TV authority Tina Nijkamp in her podcast: “Where is Floor Bremer at RTL Tonight? Yes, it is very striking that we never see her at RTL Tonight anymore. We actually only see Frits Wester and that has been three weeks now.”
Bad marriage
How does Tina say? “I think it has to do with the fact that Floor was very busy with the elections as a reporter, but I also think that either Floor doesn’t feel like it or that RTL Tonight is increasingly moving towards fewer experts. You increasingly see the same carousel of people.”
She concludes: “Much fewer different people and also fewer people at the desk than before. I may think that it was not a good marriage between Floor Bremer and RTL Tonight, or that she was too busy with reporting at RTL Nieuws.”
