“A Minecraft Film” has so far been the highest sales of Hollywood film of the year and is now on the home stretch to reach the $ 1 billion brand at the global box office.
The main roles play in the video game adaptation Jack Black and Jason Momoa. The film is of course a big nonsense, but does not take itself too seriously. But it is also the proof that the (very young) target group is still in large numbers in the cinemas.
While “A Minecraft Film” is still running in many cinemas in Germany, the blockbuster can already be seen in the stream from May 19. Then the film can be bought digitally and can be seen on Amazon Prime Video or Apple TV.

So far, it has been unknown whether a streamer will soon be there and soon picks up the Minecraft film. From July 3rd, 2025, there will be the option of buying the film on Blu-ray and DVD from July 03, 2025.
While “a Minecraft Film” already set up some cinema records this year, there was also a hearing in the billboard charts for Jack Black. “Steve’s Lava Chicken”, sung by the actor in the film, is the shortest song with just half a minute, which could ever settle in the top 100.
