The instant messaging application Whatsapp stopped working for less than an hour. Based on the Downdetector service, the messaging app’s problems started on Wednesday around 11:00 p.m.

The Whatsapp application did not send messages through. The application said it was “connecting”, but the connection didn’t seem to be successful. The problem didn’t seem to be only in the mobile version either, because the same problems were in the Whatsapp web application.
