What we now know about the crash: fewer than 30 seconds before collision, helicopter pilot was asked if he saw the plane approaching

An airplane from American Airlines collided last night with an army helicopter in Washington DC, around 9 pm local time (3 hours of Belgian time). The plane crashed into the water after the impact. 18 bodies were already taken out of the water, and the rescue and search is still in full swing. The cause of the collision is not yet known.
