What parties make up Sumar and what has Díaz negotiated with each one?

The task has been hard, a negotiating sprint, but Yolanda Diaz managed this Friday to close a coalition agreement with a dozen parties for the general elections next 23-J. Under the name of Sumar and with Yolanda Díaz as head of the list for Madrid, all these formations will be presented together in the same electoral listwhich do not have to present until within 10 days. However, reaching this understanding has not been easy and not everyone has fared equally well:

The purple formation kept the negotiation in suspense until the last day. However, this Friday, the general secretary of the party, Ione Belarraguaranteed their entry into the coalition, despite the fact that they denounced that the second vice president has vetoed the Minister of Equality, Irene Montero, and that they barely have representation on the lists.

Specifically, they will occupy fifth place in the lists for Madrid which, foreseeably, will occupy Belarra; the room for Barcelona; and the numbers one by Avila, Araba, badajoz, caceres, Grenade, Guadalajara, Gipuzkoa, the palms, Murcia, Navarre, Palencia Segovia and Teruel.. Belarra has denounced that with these positions it is probable that they will be left without deputies in Congress.

The federal coordinator of UI, Alberto Garzonhas agreed with the vice president that the top positions on the lists of Cordova, Malaga and tarragona, which will share it with the ‘comunes, and in eight other provinces where they are unlikely to get representation. In addition, they receive the number 2 for Seville, Navarra and Asturias and the 3 for Valencia, a distribution that seems insufficient to them. Garzón, who has already given up running in these elections, has announced that she is also the spokesperson for the formation, sira regoHe has taken a step back. In addition, she has apologized “for the noise caused in this process.”

The negotiation in Cataloniawhere unity reigns normally, has also been complicated with we can demanding greater representation on the lists. Finally, the agreement with Díaz concludes that they will be presented with the brand “Add-In Comú Podem“and that the ‘commons’ will choose the heads of the list for the four Catalan provinces. That of Tarragona will be shared with the IU.

The agreement closed with Más Madrid, the group he leads Monica Garciaestablishes that this formation will have the positions 3, 4 (Occupied by Íñigo Errejón), 7 and 10 of the electoral list for Madrid. Beyond presenting itself under the acronym of Sumar and on a ballot that will be headed by Yolanda Díaz and that will have the photo of the vice president as its logo, Más Madrid will hold the direction of the campaign in this territory in a collegiate manner with Sumar. They are one of the great beneficiaries of this negotiation.

The Valencian formation and the Díaz project will be presented to the elections under the name Commitment Add: Sumem per guanyar. In the pact closed with Díaz it is established that in the electoral lists of Valencia number 1 and 2 will be for commitment; in Alicante the head of the list will be Add; and in Castellon will be a person of consensus. To configure the rest of the list, the even numbers will be people chosen by Compromís and the odd numbers by Add. The vice president could give up some of the positions that correspond to Podemos.

The Aragonese Chunta will occupy the first position of the electoral list for Saragossa. The regionalist formation has not had a seat since 2008, when they lost the seat they had been occupying Jose Antonio Labordeta since the year 2000. Now, they could return to Congress since in 2019 United We Can obtained a seat, that of Pablo Echenique.
