What Lavrov said is not accidental. Opinion of Jacob Kedmi

In a programme “Full contact” on the radio “Vesti FM” and platform “Looking” Vladimir Solovyov during a conversation with the former head of the Israeli secret service “Nativ” Yakov Kedmi drew attention to the fact that the day before in a speech by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov “Very different accents sounded.” In particular, about Russia’s conversations with Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua.

“It sounded, in particular, that issues of military-technical cooperation were also discussed – something that had not been directly mentioned before. I think it is no coincidence,” the host said.

“I also think that it was no coincidence that this was said,” Kedmi replied.

In his opinion, it is no coincidence that this was determined before getting a response from the Americans for security guarantees and no expansion of NATO to the East.

“That is, if it was made public before receiving a response from the United States, then Russia formally wants to put it on the basis of the development of normal relations,” the Israeli expert explained. He clarified that this, in his opinion, was not “an answer to an answer”.

“This is a normal development of relations with partners, regardless of the US response,” Yakov Kedmi said.

Moreover, according to him, “such a conversation is almost impossible to hide from the intelligence services.” Probably, “this option will be announced.” “Whether it will be announced in parallel with the development of negotiations, we will see,” the expert added.
