Mehmet Scholl was FC Bayern for 15 years. Later he had coaching jobs and was active as a TV expert. Then he dipped and came back – now his daughter is also in focus.

For a long time, Mehmet Scholl had disappeared from the public. Last year he gave his comeback as an expert in the talk for the home European Championship with the title “Now comes to Scholl” at “Bild”. The name of the 54-year-old is also currently back in the media. Because his daughter Josefine and Bayern newcomer Tom Bischof are a couple. This was confirmed by the 20-year-old international and the 17-year-old with a photo on Instagram.

The new friend of his daughter stands on the lawn for the German record champion, like Scholl. From 1992 to 2007 the former midfielder wore the Jersey of the Munich. Mehmet Scholl also visits FC Bayern and sits in the stadium. The last Instagram contribution by Scholl is dated June of last year.

The name “Scholl” rarely appeared for a while – until the spring two years ago. At that time, the eight -time German champion in the podcast “simply lupps” by brothers Toni and Felix Kroos in terms of football explained: “I was completely out for a year – I felt like looking three or five months ago.”

Scholl moved back to football. To where his career once started. He went through the youth teams of Karlsruher SC and signed in 1992 at FC Bayern. He remained true to this after his active player career: only as a youth coach (2008 to 2009) and later twice as a coach of the second team (2009 to 2010 and 2012 to 2013). Then he worked as a football expert-until he became sorry for the business.

In the podcast of the Kroos brothers, Scholl explained two years ago in relation to the professionals and his TV job: “I was just more and more sorry to play the evil uncle who repeatedly criticizes the players on television.” But that was not the only point that shelled.

He continued in the podcast: “I had to look at everything because I had to know what I wanted to talk about. I had to get a picture myself and always looked at the games a little differently. But I was tired to pull it all in.” That’s why he treated himself to a break and disappeared from the television screens. He gradually had strength to talk about what is happening in the industry, said Scholl.

He was also able to imagine a new job order in football at the time. However, there were obviously no offers. Scholl told the multiple Champions League winner and ex-real professional Toni Kroos and his brother: “At the moment, it is very, very much in football. And I am also interested again-and really interested.” However, whether Scholl will take a new expert or trainer job promptly remains open. Until then, he could cheer on his daughter’s friend from time to time.
