Alone at home -the iconic house known from the movies may have a new owner very soon. CBS-news site, a request for bids has been made for a red brick house in Winnetka, Chicago.
The asking price for the over 836 square meter house has been around 5.25 million dollars since spring. The last time the house was for sale was in 2012, when it was sold for $1.58 million. Built in 1921, the house has, among other things, five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a small basketball court and a movie theater.
There is also another apartment for sale in the neighborhood of the iconic brick house. Sale notice according to the apartment in question is for sale for more than 3.7 million dollars. According to CBS, its selling price at the beginning of the year was about 4.8 million dollars. The apartment has, among other things, six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a swimming pool and a small basketball court.
