The prices of residential care centers continue to rise year after year. In September 2024 the average monthly price was 2,246 euros, now that has already risen to 2,294 euros, an increase of more than two percent. But the OKRA Barometer shows that the average price in West Flanders is 2,215 euros, almost 3.5 percent lower than the Flemish figure.
Public and non-profit residential care centers in particular print the average in the province. Prices are a lot higher in commercial residential care centers. In Flanders you pay an average of 2,501 euros per month in a commercial center, compared to 2,162 euros in a public center. We also see these differences in West Flanders.
