Renze Klamer went to an AIDS party for celebrities last weekend, but refused to speak to the press present. They find it poignant at the table at Today Inside. “Star looks.”

The Amsterdam Dinner is annually advertised as a charity gala to raise money for the fight against HIV and AIDS, but in practice it is mainly an evening when the whole of Hilversum dresses up in tuxedos and evening dresses, smiles broadly at the cameras and shares the photos on Instagram the next day. The charity? Nobody talks about that.

“Then don’t go!”

Celebrities stand on the red carpet, while photographers and reporters wait for a quote. That is exactly where things went wrong with Renze Klamer. He takes a rather turbulent path towards the start of his own talk show – Beau van Erven Dorens and Humberto Tan think he is a size-setter – but he does not want to say anything about that.

Renze gave Shownieuws a thumbs up and indicated that he would say more soon. “Then you shouldn’t go!” René van der Gijp shouts Today Inside.

Stay home

Wilfred Genee agrees. “No, then you have to stay home.”

René: “Then you shouldn’t go! You go there, you dress yourself, there are some people from the press and you just speak to them, right? What is it about? ‘Yes, he doesn’t speak to the press!’”

Johan Derksen: “Star looks. That is star looks.”

René: “What more can you say than: ‘I’m looking forward to it’?”

Tina Nijkamp: “Yes!”

René: “Yes, and when you start.”

‘He makes it big’

Tina thinks that Renze makes it bigger than it is in this way. “Yes, that’s why you make it so big if you don’t do it. Just say: ‘I’m really looking forward to it, great fun.’”

Wilfred: “But he is now going to give an interview. He also gave an interview with Pim Sedee, I understood. He will come on Saturday, I believe.”

Tina: “Yes, and the AD will appear on Friday at 6 p.m. I think Beau and Humberto will be mentioned.”

Wilfred: “And that he thinks they’re bastards?”

Tina: “I think so. I also think he is not very happy with Peter van der Vorst.”

Wilfred cynically: “I don’t think he’s going to say anything at all.”
