Werner fit for Bern

RB Leipzig can rely on Timo Werner again in the last group game of the Champions League. The national soccer striker completed the final training and can play against the Swiss champions Young Boys Bern on Wednesday (6:45 p.m./DAZN).

Werner, who is not a regular player for the Saxons this season and is cleared to move over the winter, could even be in the starting line-up in the game, which has no sporting meaning. Leipzig is already in second place in Group G, Bern is third and will be relegated to the Europa League.

Werner was out for two weeks due to adductor problems. The 27-year-old has been successful twice in a total of 13 competitive games. Werner was only in the starting line-up four times.
