“We’re holding our breath for next weekend”: the first winter injections cause more (deadly) CO poisonings

The Poison Control Center asks everyone to be extra alert. Because with the first cold shots, the silent killer – carbon monoxide – also strikes again. After a woman died of CO poisoning in Brussels on Friday evening, eight people in Antwerp were seriously affected by the gas released from defective heating appliances this morning. People are already looking forward to next weekend with trepidation: “Despite all awareness campaigns, CO continues to kill 20 to 30 people in Belgium every year.”
