Werder Bremen | Niclas Füllkrug to FC Bayern or West Ham? Naby Keita hopes to stay

Top scorer Niclas Füllkrug from Bundesliga club Werder Bremen is associated with numerous top clubs, including FC Bayern. His new team-mate Naby Keita is hoping for the centre-forward’s whereabouts. Meanwhile, new rumors about the German national player are burgeoning.

At FC Bayern, Niclas Füllkrug is still one of the options, according to “Sky”, despite all speculation about a transfer from Harry Kane. In addition, three other clubs are said to be in position to make a move this summer: Bayer Leverkusen, West Ham United and Fiorentina.

According to the broadcaster, the filling mug in Leverkusen is definitely “discussed”, although concrete steps have not yet been taken.

Füllkrug’s contract in Bremen runs until 2025, and he recently turned down an offer to extend the contract. “We can only move within the economic framework that we can afford,” Bremen’s head of professional football Clemens Fritz explained to “kicker”: “We want to extend Niclas, otherwise we would not have made him the offer. We have that also clearly communicated that we want to keep him.”

Keita on Füllkrug: ‘Obviously I want him to stay’

If Bremen’s new signing Naby Keita has his way, the attacker will remain with the Green-Whites next season. “He came to me on the first day and spoke to me. He’s a really good guy, of course a top striker. He really accepted me as a friend,” enthused the former Leipziger at his performance.

“Of course he heard the rumors about a possible change from Füllkrug, but it’s not my job to talk about it.” Keita only said: “Obviously I want him to stay. If he stays he can do something great for the team.”
