Anthony Jung could move to a former coach of the green-whites after the end of the contract with Werder Bremen. As “Sky” reports, Florian Kohfeldt wants to attract the 33 -year -old central defender to Darmstadt 98. The lilies are supposed to offer the veteran a long -term perspective after Jung has not received a new offer for further cooperation at the Hanseatic work.

According to reports, the exchange with the player side is concrete, but there is no decision yet. Other clubs, primarily other second division teams, are also supposed to advertise young. Darmstadt, however, has a good chance of securing the experienced defender free of charge. Young comes to 108 missions in the Bundesliga, in the lower house there are 94.
Jung had moved from Bröndby to the Weser in 2021 and since then has had 129 games, six goals and seven templates. He is usually set in this Bundesliga season, and he was in the starting line-up 20 times in the Bundesliga. Werder justified the separation in summer to want to give new impulses in his position. At the age of 33, the oldest field player in the Bremen squad was young.
