It is a PR-Blunder: Welmoed Sijtsma has said live on television that she would have preferred to present the new summer talk show the Netherlands with her TV buddy Frank van Leeuwen, instead of Sam Hagens. In the run -up to the program, the two will of course be asked again for the entire time.

To somewhat limit the damage, Welmoed is now returning to her statements. “Ojjeeee guys, I said something stupid that I didn’t mean at all. I was asked yesterday at Van Roosmalen & Groenteman to choose between TV men. Bit in the category choosing between your children … That is of course not possible at all,” she says on Instagram.
