Welle residents startled after almost a ‘tornado’ forms over the municipality

Many residents of Welle, a sub-municipality of Denderleeuw, were shocked this evening by a cloud formation that formed above the streets. A cloud formed into a tornado, but just barely touched the ground and disappeared again very quickly. “At that time there was a strong wind,” says one of the residents there.
