After Teso increased the prices for a crossing by car last year by a maximum of 8.9 percent, all tickets now become an average of 10 percent more expensive from 1 April. Pedestrians will not pay 2.50 euros from next month, but 3 euros. Cyclists will pay a euro more: these tickets now cost 6 euros.
For years the price of a card remained the same. In 2022, the price of the boat card even went down and it was cheaper than in 2002. But after last year Teso will continue to increase a price increase. “In particular, the flattening of the rise in transport figures and the high inflation of recent years, resulting in the higher costs for the TESO, underlie this increase”, can be read in a press release from the ferry service.
