Dr. Andreas Beck is founder and CEO of Index Capital GmbH. Born in 1965, after training as a locksmith, he studied mathematics and philosophy at the University of Munich and then received his doctorate in logic at the University of Bremen. As an expert in model risks and portfolio analysis, he has advised numerous banks and asset managers on all questions relating to asset management and capital market risks over the past 20 years. Together with Deutsche Bank, he developed the world’s first portfolio index, in which you can still invest today via a portfolio ETF (WKN: DBX0BT). The media coverage of his work is correspondingly positive and frequent. As an example, the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung (2013) describes him as a “creative lateral thinker with mathematical expertise … whose risk assessments have proven to be solid in the financial crisis.”
Johanna Göckel is the contact person for DWS Xtrackers ETFs with a focus on digital customer groups such as direct banks, neo-brokers and robo-advisors. Before joining the ETF team, Johanna completed the DWS Graduate Trainee Program. She holds a Master of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the Goethe University Frankfurt and is a Certified ESG Analyst (CESGA®).
