The KNMI warns of thunderstorms, hail and strong gusts of wind in Brabant on Friday. Code yellow applies from four o’clock. In addition to heavy showers, the KNMI expects local wind gusts of approximately 75 kilometers per hour.
Locally, twenty to forty millimeters of precipitation can fall in an hour. The weather warning is in force until ten o’clock and also applies in Limburg, Gelderland, Overijssel, Drenthe and Groningen.

Residents of the Breda district of Haagse Beemden are going to court out of frustration about noise pollution and dust from waste and rubble processing companies. Ed Graman (68) of the Air and Noise Action Group demands independent research into harmful substances and noise pollution.
According to the action group, the municipality and province only refer to permits, while residents are concerned about their health. The municipality of Breda formally responds that companies must comply with laws and regulations.
