The leading platform in Italy for the bridal sector (part of The Knot Worldwide group) has therefore developed a series of tools to better address the situation.

On the one hand, it has developed one weather forecast tool, based on official sources and historical data, which allows couples to have a rough forecast of the weather for their wedding day even many months later. In order to get a rough idea of ​​who will accompany them between sun and clouds.

1. Tensile structures. They are a practically essential element for couples who want to celebrate their wedding outdoors. 27% of couples said they had planned accessories such as umbrellas, umbrellas, awnings or canopies in case of unfavorable weather conditions. There are more traditional proposals and others that are truly unusual: from Bedouin tents to geodesic domes.

2. Greenhouses or conservatories. They are magical places, perfect for those who want a botanical-style wedding but not only. These structures allow the bride and groom and their guests to experience an outdoor wedding, but with the warmth and all the comforts of an indoor wedding. As already known and already repeated: you can’t help it. If it rains on the wedding day, the responsibility does not lie with the couple. Instead, what falls within the responsibility of the spouses is to provide the guests and the location with some solutions so that everyone can enjoy the big day despite the bad weather.

1. Think about it ahead of time
If rain is an eventuality in the chosen season, it is necessary to prepare plan B in time. Consulting with suppliers can give useful ideas. From the rental of tensile structures to the choice of corners chosen for buffets and cake cutting.

2. Have fun with colorful umbrellas
To color a gray day, colored umbrellas can be a winner: you can buy them a stockall colors or the theme color of the wedding.

3. Take shelter under comfortable hoods
