WEATHER REPORT. RMI warns of slipperiness: code yellow in all provinces | Science & Planet

Last night’s showers and freezing temperatures have caused the formation of ice and rhyme patches locally. There may even be snow in higher areas. As a result, code yellow for smoothness applies to the entire country, with the exception of the coastal region. Towards evening, a wave disturbance will reach our country that will provide the necessary precipitation until Wednesday.

Until 13:00 applies to all provinces code yellow for smoothness. This is due to the presence of ice and rhyme patches as well as snow in the south of the country. There are still showers (melting snow) in the course of the morning. Elsewhere there is a chance of a shower, but at times also broad clearance. Gradually the cloud cover thickens again due to a disturbance that is approaching our country. In the course of the evening, the weak rain zone will arrive in the west. Maxima fluctuate between 1 and 8 °C in a moderate west-southwest wind.

Tonight the precipitation zone then passes over Belgium. In most of the country this causes rain, in the Ardennes (melting) snow. Minima fluctuate between -1 and + 5 °C. The southwest wind blows quite strong.

Also tomorrow there is still a rain zone over our heads. As a result, it is heavily clouded and there is melting or rain in Low and Central Belgium and snow in High Belgium. In the afternoon it gradually becomes dry from the west and at nightfall the disturbance finally leaves our country via the south. The temperature is 2 to 4 °C. There is a weak north to northwest wind in Flanders. In Wallonia this is rather a moderate to fairly strong southwest wind.

Outage three days in a row. Also Wednesday rain is falling again in our country, albeit south of Sambre and Maas. In Flanders it remains dry and we get to see a dash of sun at times. Maximums fluctuate between – 2 and + 6 °C. A moderate wind is blowing from the east.

The second half of the week seems to be equally gray and rainy. Although the mercury will rise on Friday and it will soften again.
