The Whitsun weekend starts with sun and summer temperatures. In the south it can be 25 degrees again today. Due to a strong northeasterly wind, the temperature in the north of the country remains at around 17 to 19 degrees. In the rest of the Netherlands it will be 21 to 24 degrees.
The sun will show itself fully on Saturday, although some veil clouds can occur in some places in the morning. Clouds continue to dominate in the Wadden area. The wind is moderate to quite strong.
The sun power will be 7 in the afternoon, Weeronline warns. Therefore, pay close attention when you are outside. This high sun power means that unprotected skin can burn in 10 to 25 minutes.
Saturday evening we can enjoy the sun for a long time. It will continue to shine in many places for a while. Clouds will increase from the south later in the evening and into the night, followed by a few showers by morning.
In the night from Saturday to Sunday, the temperature drops to 7 to 9 degrees in the northeast and 14 to 15 in the south.
